Cobre de luz has been a work in progress for over 50 years.

Initially collecting stones on local beaches while camping with my children to setting the stones in rings and pendants.

I expanded my knowledge by taking jewelry classes at local colleges in Santa Monica and San Fernando Valley, California.

I taught jewelry skills to young students in Los Angeles for 7 years.

I continued making jewelry and cutting stones for over 30 years.

After retiring from teaching, I have continued for over 20 years, pursuing my passion to cut unique beautiful stones and set them in affordable jewelry.

All of my work is hand made in the old tradition of hard labor.

I primarily use sterling silver, and some mixed metal pieces with copper, brass or gold.

I am now making my work available to the public. I hope you find something you like.
